We have a great issue of Grendel #1 graded 9.2 by CGC available NOW. It is the second print so it features the super detailed artwork that we all love in Grendel. Grendel was created by Matt Wagner.

Grendel #1 features features Hunter Rose as Grendel. It establishes the foundation of his dual identity, delving into his motivations, and setting the stage for his future conflicts and confrontations.

If you are a Hot Toys collector or a Marvel fan, you should check it out. She is 1/6 scale so that is roughly 12 inches so larger than any Marvel Legends and so much more detail.

Black Widow comes in a couple of varieties from Hot Toys and they are all for some reason HTF so there must be some hardcore Black Widow fans out there hoarding them all – lol

We have a nice set of GI Joe Shore Patrol uniform shirt and pants available now. The color is really good on them and they still have the original tie that is often missing. They have some weird residue on them as it appears someone put something on them for display. It could just be sizing but it is adhesive like. A shame really since they are in such good condition but if you are looking for a good display set, these could work and the price is right since we have adjusted it for the adhesive stuff.

Vintage Planet of the Apes Cardback Mego Cardbacks

We have some great original vintage Planet of the Apes Cardback available now. There are several to choose from and I am always in awe of the fact that someone has saved packaging from so long ago when it was really rare to save it.

The original “Planet of the Apes” film was released in 1968 and became a cultural phenomenon, leading to several sequels and spin-offs.

Mego, a popular toy company at the time, obtained the license to produce action figures based on the “Planet of the Apes” films. The Mego Planet of the Apes toy line included a variety of figures, playsets, and accessories featuring characters and elements from the movies.

The action figures represented characters such as Cornelius, Zira, Dr. Zaius, and other apes and humans from the series. The figures were made of plastic and featured movable limbs and detailed costumes.

In addition to the action figures, Mego released playsets that recreated iconic locations from the “Planet of the Apes” movies. These playsets included environments like the Forbidden Zone, Treehouse, and Ape City, allowing children to create their own adventures within the world of the franchise.

Big Jim Firefighter Clothing Set On Card Congost Spain

Big Jim was a line of action figures produced by Mattel in the 1970s and 1980s. One of the figures in the line was Big Jim Firefighter, a firefighter action figure.

Big Jim Firefighter was released in 1975 and was part of the Rescue Rig set. The figure stood at 11 inches tall and was fully poseable. He wore a firefighter uniform. The uniform was produced for the European Market by Congost and does differ from the US Set.

The Rescue Rig set also included a fire truck with a ladder that could be raised and lowered, as well as a stretcher for rescuing people from burning buildings.

The Congost Set was made for the European Market in Spain in 1976. The carded set here is incomplete as the card has cracked and a couple of items have been lost.

Lando Calrissian 1980 Original Action Figure with Weapon and Cape

Amazing Spider-Man #64 Low Grade but GREAT STORY!!

This is a nice early Amazing Spider-Man from 1968 with a great cover of Vulture. This one is a low grade but that makes it affordable and being over 50 years old, it is getting harder and harder to get these sub-100 Amazing Spider-Mans. Great story and it is nice to see now how the early books were as they were still forming what and who Spider-Man was going to be and who the villains were going to be and all of the stories that we know so well now were either not known yet or were just ideas. It is a very cool early example of a great Spider-Man story.
